An outreach and awareness program for GATE/JAM, was organised by the Deans of Arts and Science in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell on 19.09.2024 at the Veluchamy Auditorium. Dr V. Sriram, Professor, Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras, Chennai and Vice Chairperson, GATE/JAM addressed the students on two of the most prestigious exams that are gateways to advanced studies and rewarding careers. The Dean of Arts Dr S. Jayanthi welcomed the gathering and began the session. The presidential address was delivered by the Principal Dr P. Rajaguru, followed by the keynote address by Dr V. Sriram. Around 800 students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, from various colleges benefitted from this Program. The Dean of Career Guidance and Placement Cell Dr J. Geethamani proposed the vote of thanks. The Dean of Science, Dr T. Kavitha and the Deputy Dean of Arts, Dr V. Alwarnayaki and the Deputy Dean of Science, Dr R. Revathy coordinated for the success of the program.
