The National Cadet Corps (NCC) units of Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College, 3B/28 (TN) and 6/2 (TN) Girls Battalion NCC, jointly organised a Career Guidance Programme aimed at equipping cadets with insights into diverse career opportunities, with a focus on the armed forces and related professions.
This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Dr P. Rajaguru, Principal of the college, and convened by Lt Dr B. Ajantha, ANO, and Lt Dr G. Pandiayarajan, ANO. The event demonstrated the college’s commitment to fostering leadership skills and career preparedness among its students.

The programme commenced with a welcome address delivered by CUO Nithya, who greeted the dignitaries, cadets, and attendees. She expressed gratitude to the organisers and emphasised the importance of career-oriented events for young minds.
The highlight of the event was the inspiring lecture by Wing Commander S. Dhanushkodi Raja, an alumnus of Sri SRNMC and an ex-cadet of NCC, currently serving in the Indian Air Force. Wing Commander Raja shared his personal journey, detailing his experiences as a cadet and his path to becoming an esteemed officer in the armed forces.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by CPL Kaleeswari. She acknowledged the guidance of the principal, the efforts of the conveners, the inspiring presence of the chief guest, and the enthusiastic participation of cadets. The event was coordinated by the SD and SW cadets, showcasing their teamwork and organisational skills. The programme left a lasting impact on all attendees, reinforcing the importance of career-focused guidance in shaping the futures of young individuals.
