The Department of Physics, Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College, Sattur organized an extension activity titled “Popularisation of Basic Sciences” under the DBT Star College Scheme on 21st February 2025 at Government Higher Secondary School in Sippiparai, Vembakottai Block, Virudhunagar District.
The event was designed to encourage and stimulate students to consider pursuing higher studies in the field of science. Dr. K. Thilaga, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics visited the school and conducted an examination in Physics for the XII standard students. The exam comprises 50 multiple-choice questions.
Dr. R. Nagalingam, the Headmaster of the school, ensured the smooth execution of the event. The exam started sharply by 10.30 a.m. Around 20 students participated and benefited from the activity.
After the valuation of the answer sheets, the prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Ms. A. Srikanthini and Ms. R. Jansi Rani, PG Assistant presented prizes to the following students.
