NSS Cleaning Camp – Swachhata Hi Seva Activities

On 19 September 2024, under the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), Madurai, the NSS Boys Unit of SRNMC actively participated in a cleaning camp as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. This cleanliness drive focused on the New Building of the Government Hospital, Sattur.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr P. Kaliraj, NSS Programme Officers, and Dr Lakshmana Perumal. The participants dedicated themselves to improving the hygiene and cleanliness of the hospital premises, reflecting the core values of the Swachh Bharat mission.

Dr P. Rajaguru, the Principal, commended the dedicated efforts of both the NSS Programme Officers and the students. He appreciated their commitment to the cause and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering social responsibility and cleanliness within the community.

This initiative not only contributed to the hospital’s cleanliness but also promoted the importance of maintaining public spaces in a clean and hygienic condition for the well-being of society.
