On 4th October 2024, Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College, Sattur, organised an inspiring motivational programme titled “Happiness, Success and Money”. The event aimed to instil motivation and a positive outlook among students by highlighting key aspects of personal and professional success. The college auditorium was filled with management members, directos, faculty members, administrative staff and students, all eager to hear insights from distinguished speakers.
The programme commenced with a formal Welcome Address delivered by the college Principal, Dr Rajaguru. Dr Rajaguru warmly welcomed the gathering and emphasised the importance of such events for the holistic development of students. He also briefly introduced the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, highlighting their accomplishments and contributions to the corporate world.
Following the welcome address, the Chief Guest, Mr C. Sivasankaran, Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker, Founder of Aircel and Dishnet DSL, Chennai and the Guest of Honour, Mr Kannan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Viruhunagar District were formally honoured by the President Thiru S. Jegatheesan and Secretary Thiru T.R. Kannan of the college. The dignitaries were presented with mementoes as tokens of appreciation for their participation and contribution to the programme.
Mr Kannan, IPS Superintendent of Police in Virudhunagar District in his capacity as Guest of Honour, delivered a brief yet impactful speech. His address focused on the importance of perseverance, integrity and emotional resilience in the journey towards success. He encouraged students to adopt a growth mindset and highlighted the role of education in achieving financial independence and personal fulfilment.
The highlight of the programme was the address by the Chief Guest, Mr C. Sivasankaran, who shared his personal and professional journey, from the founding of Aircel and Dishnet DSL to his experiences in the entrepreneurial world. He emphasised the connection between happiness, success and money, stressing that financial success, while important, must be balanced with personal happiness and ethical decision-making. Mr Sivasankaran urged students to pursue their passions and underscored the significance of innovation, hard work and adaptability in today’s dynamic business environment.
The motivational programme concluded on a high note, with participants feeling inspired and encouraged by the insightful speeches. The President Thiru. S.
