The Department of Physics conducted an objective-type Physics test for the 12th Standard Students of the KMT Girls Higher Secondary School, Venkatachalapuram, Sattur – 626 203 on 26-02-2025 at 02.00 pm. 52 students actively participated in the test which is aimed to inspire and motivate students to pursue higher education in the sciences.
The test questions were prepared by the faculty members and students of the department, in collaboration with the subject experts of Physics in the Tamil Nadu State Board schools. The practice test included 50 essential questions designed to help students revise key Physics concepts ahead of their upcoming Board Exams.
With the approval of the school’s Headmistress Ms. A. Pushpalatha, the test was conducted during school hours, under the coordination of Physics Teacher Mr. M. Murugan. Both the Headmistress and the Physics Teacher provided their full support to ensure the successful execution of the event.
During the test, students were given separate answer sheets and allocated 30 minutes to complete the questions. After submission, the answer sheets were evaluated by Mr. M. Murugan. Based on the results, the following students achieved the highest scores:

The prize distribution ceremony was held during the school’s prayer session on 28th February 2025, where Headmistress Ms. A. Pushpalatha and Physics Teacher Mr. M. Murugan awarded prizes to the top scorers.
