The Department of Physics, Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College organized an extension activity titled “Popularisation of Basic Sciences” under the DBT Star College Scheme on 21st February 2025. The event aimed to inspire and motivate students to pursue higher education in the sciences.
Dr. K. Thilaga, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College visited the Government Higher Secondary School, Sankarapandiapuram, Vembakottai Block in Virudhunagar District where she conducted an examination in the subject of Physics for XII students. The exam comprises 50 multiple-choice questions prepared by the Students and Professors of the Department of Physics.
Mr. A. Ravishankar, Headmaster of the school, ensured that all necessary arrangements for the activity were in place. The exam started sharply by noon. A total of 10 students benefited from this program.
After valuing the answer sheets, the prizes were distributed by Mrs. A. Vasantha Vijayarani, the biology teacher, to the following top-performing students.
