To motivate the students to pursue their dreams, the Department of Physics, Sri S. Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College, organized a Guest Lecture on “Dream Once More” under the DBT Star College Scheme on 20.12.2024 at Main Seminar Hall. Mr. P. Vijayavel, Founder and CEO of DCE Technology, India graced the occasion as the resource person.
The program started sharply around 2:00 p.m. The program was inaugurated with a prayer song by Ms. R. Pramodhini and Ms. B. Sakthi, II M. Sc Physics. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. G. Vennila, I M. Sc Physics. Dr. S. Nithya, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics gave the presidential address. She emphasized the necessity of a dream for a successful life. Then, the resource person was introduced to the participants by
Dr. S. Lakshmana Perumal, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics.
The Guest Speaker, Mr. P. Vijayavel, took over the session. In his talk, he mentioned a success mantra that consists of three main factors: choosing a field of interest, coming out of one’s comfort zone, and staying up to date. He ended his lecture with a statement by Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam: “If you can dream it, you can do it”. The program ended with an effusive vote of thanks by Ms. D. Vanitha, III B. Sc Physics.
