An extension activity was conducted by the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) on 31st July 2024, focusing on “Educare for Human Excellence.” This event was organised in collaboration with the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (SSSSO) with the aim of fostering spiritual transformation and cultivating a state of Human Excellence in individuals.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Nirmala from RRC (II BA English). The programme featured distinguished resource persons, including Mrs. M. Mahalakshmi, Virudhunagar District Youth Coordinator (SSSSO), Mrs. S. Sai Dheeksha, Virudhunagar District Veda Coordinator and Ms. T. Dhanushma, Spiritual Trainer (SSSSO). They emphasised the significance of Moral, Spiritual and Value Education for the modern generation, drawing parallels between Ancient Vedic Science and contemporary society.
The activity effectively conveyed to the RRC and YRC volunteers the vital role they are to play in promoting Human Excellence in the future. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Ashiffa from RRC (II BA), who expressed gratitude to the Principal of the institution, the staff members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation and the participants.
